I am interested in the mirror image of your product. Here is what we are thinking about:

We have a facility with several hundred rooms (maybe 20x50). Every employee carries a hand held computer that is connected, via WiFi, to our server. We would like to put a 'dumb' bluetooth device in every room - this device doesn't need to do anything but identify itself. When an employee is in the room his hand held computer will detect and report back to the server which room the employee is in.

Do you think this is doable? Do you have suggestions about what we can use for the 'dumb' bluetooth device?

I have not tested windows CE at all, I have no windows CE devices. To be honest I don't know what you would need to compile it for such a device. If you figure it out let me know!
